The laundry facilities saved me a trip into town to do washing, and the owners kept our room cleaned well and supplied whatever we needed straight away. They’re friendly, the amenities covered everything, the beds are super comfy, and it was peaceful. I stayed at this motel from the 29th December 2025 to 8th January 2026 and will definitely book here again next time.

The Austria Motel Vienna Room was very spacious, with two reclining chairs for watching the 55" Smart Tv in the evenings. It doesn’t have streaming capacity, though. We stayed three nights. The motel is close to central Paihia, an easy walk from restaurants, the supermarket, shops, and the wharf. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, central place at a great price.

For a longer stay, the kitchen worked really well, with a full sized fridge and all the amenities. The beds were very comfortable, and the quiet setting felt relaxing. We spent five nights at the Austria Motel, within walking distance of central Paihia, restaurants, the supermarket, shops, and the wharf area. The owners were helpful and accommodating, including with suggestions for places to see and things to do. I’d highly recommend it for a quiet, central stay at a great price.

Elaine was a superstar host and went above and beyond to make sure I had the stay I wanted. Austria Motel was lovely, with clean, tidy, spacious rooms and a spot close to town. I’d highly recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Paihia.

Elaine at reception was absolutely wonderful. This is a brilliant little place, and we couldn’t have asked for better. Being so close to the ChargeNet charger was a bonus for us.
