My husband and I loved staying at Chalet Romantica for part of our honeymoon. Inge was a friendly, helpful, and gracious host. The room was spotless, with lovely details like fresh-cut flowers, and the breakfast cart was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

The balcony had a stunning view, and it was just the spot we needed to sit and unwind. Breakfast was continental, with a good selection that kept us going until lunch. Inge welcomed us so warmly, and the room was beautifully presented and spotless. We had a great stay from start to finish. Thanks so much to Inge and family, we'll be back.

The continental breakfast is awesome. The Chalet sits up a small hill with a great view of Paihia, facing north for lovely afternoon sun, which is unusual there, and stunning views in the morning. Rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, and they've been modernized over time. The many thoughtful details give it the feel of a 5-star hotel, a real credit to the owners.

Nothing seemed to be a problem, and the little touches kept coming: a spotless room, welcome card, chocolates and cookies every day, plus unbelievable breakfasts with a superb view. Inge is a wonderful hostess with incredible attention to detail. She was sorting out our tours before we'd even taken our bags out of the car, and her recommendations were spot on. We've stayed four nights, with tonight our last, and it's sad to leave such great accommodation in a beautiful part of the world.

Inge was such a friendly, lovely host, and I remember the cozy, clean, comfortable rooms, the good breakfast, and the nice swimming pool. I stayed here seven years ago on my honeymoon and had a great time. Definitely want to visit again. Strongly recommended!
