I called because I was going to arrive after the last check-in time, and the staff offered to stay late for me. That’s great service. For what was offered, the value was good: a medium-sized, very clean room with a comfortable king bed, desk and chair, sofa chair, and end tables. The bathroom was a fair size and pristine, as was the shower. The toilet seat closes softly, though I wish the room door did too. There were cups, wine glasses, spoons and a small cube-sized fridge.

The beach is at the end of the street, with bars and places to eat within walking distance. The staff were very accommodating to our needs, and there’s a swimming pool and spa. This was my second stay, and we loved it again. The room was spacious and clean. I’d highly recommend it and would definitely return.

Howie was a very helpful and accommodating host. The pool is wonderful, and the continental breakfast is good and reasonably priced. Everything was clean and tidy, and the accommodation is solid, clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely stay again. Thanks, Howie.

The place felt like home, and we’ll definitely stay here again on our holidays from Wellington. Our needs were met, and we really appreciated the kind, genuine owner and the Māori receptionist, who was a vibe and great to chat with. We could add another person for $15, and enjoyed the pool and pool dining area. We stayed two days, paying 165 for three adults and an infant, and they brought us a cot free of charge. The pricing was delightful. The team at Paihia pacific provided top-tier service, thank you for everything.

The hosts were warm, welcoming and helpful, and the mini mart and some great dinner spots were close by. The ocean was only about 200 metres away, with glimpses of it from the balcony. Our room had a mini kitchen, so we made our own breakfast and lunch, plus a big bathroom with great water pressure. My husband and I booked a week and were delighted to get an upgrade to the biggest room in the complex. It was seriously big, with two queen beds and one single, all very comfortable. Highly recommend.
