Rob and Lionel made our first night of our New Zealand vacation feel like a perfect start. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere at Moon Gate Villa is peaceful and welcoming. Our spacious room opened onto a private outdoor area in the gorgeous garden. The property is beautifully maintained, and breakfast was excellent, with personal attention that made it feel special. We'd highly recommend Moon Gate Villa to anyone visiting the Bay of Islands.

The daily breakfast was delicious and clearly made with care. I loved the calm feel of the Cupid’s Curl Suite at Moon Gate Villa, with its elegant setting, natural light, and view over a peaceful Zen garden. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A really memorable stay.

Lionel cooked a phenomenal breakfast, and Rob and Lionel were such lovely hosts. My wife and I really appreciated the welcome sign with our name on it when we arrived. The whole hotel is stunning, with beautiful plants everywhere that Rob and Lionel grow. Our room was big, clean, and luxurious, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The robes were really comfortable too. An absolute must stay. Thank you, Rob and Lionel, for having us. My wife and I will be back!

We just wrapped up a long weekend at Moon Gate Villas and absolutely loved it. Rob and Lionel were fabulous, helpful, and very accommodating hosts. We'll come back with family and take over the whole place!

Our garden room was spotlessly clean, and the garden itself is absolutely beautiful. It's a lovely, quiet spot a few minutes from the centre of KeriKeri, with Black Olive restaurant about a 20 minute walk away. Lionel and Rob made us feel so welcome, including a welcoming drink and introductions to the dogs and cat. Just the place to unwind after a long journey.
