I spent a week here, and it made a perfect base for seeing Dunedin’s Albatross, Penguins and Seals, the beautiful railroad station, Settlers Museum, The Catlins, Mt Cook, South Slope, and all the lovely scenery you can take in. Everything was clean, tidy and organized. It’s conveniently located, quiet, has good WiFi and plenty of places to walk. The kitchenette was nice and adequately equipped, the heater worked great, and the water pressure was good. I loved the heat blankets under the bedding. Thank you, Jenny, for a wonderful stay. I’d definitely come back.

The owner was the highlight, really lovely and helpful. The unit was renovated, with two bedrooms, a clean room, a good kitchen and bathroom, strong shower pressure, and comfy beds. Heaters in every room kept our small family warm, and the location and price were good. The Wi-Fi was patchy, though, and the laundry could use an upgrade.

The owner was lovely and the service was great, which made this a real bargain. The renovated motel has a neat kitchen, new, high-quality bathroom and shower facilities, and very comfortable beds. Even with the cold outside, the heating worked well throughout.
