Three Palms Lodge

The room we were given was filthy, and so was the bathroom sink, which had bodily excretions on it. The motel wasn't clearly signposted, and the rooms we'd booked and had confirmed weren't available when we arrived. Staff showed no interest in sorting it out and offered no other room. They also argued about refunding us even though what they offered wasn't the room we had booked. There are no lifts, yet they expected old, disabled people to climb the stairs. The entire motel, upstairs and downstairs, and even the car park, stank of curry. It was totally overpowering and unacceptable. Staff said permanent residents cooked in their rooms. I'm pretty sure that's not legal!! If we could give minus stars, we would. Definitely not recommended.

We arrived at the hotel at the time we'd been told, but nobody was there. A waste of time and money, and the phone numbers weren't working either.

The location was handy, quite close to the main street. The rooms were generally neat, too. Just be aware there’s no lift, so you may need to haul your luggage up two flights of stairs.

The location’s the one plus, right in the middle of everything. The motel looks like a prison, and the room was flirty. The showers brought a hospital to mind, the blankets had spot stains, and the TV kept playing up. When I asked for milk, they gave me a packet of milk powder, LOL. Definitely won’t be back.
