Ocean Breeze Resort

Peter and Louise made us feel welcome and work hard to keep the apartments and grounds in lovely condition. We’ve stayed at Ocean Breeze twice now and hope to return again. Our one-bedroom apartment was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. A cheese grater would have been handy, but the washing machine and tumble dryer were very useful. The well-maintained complex has a wonderfully warm pool and a spa. It’s a short walk to the beach, where we enjoyed morning strolls. Pauanui is beautiful, and we had fun surfing at the main beach and swimming in the river Erie. We even spotted two stingrays in the river, which was very exciting.

Louise and Peter were lovely and did so much to make our stay special. When my son didn’t know how deep the pool was, Peter jumped straight in to save him while I froze. The room was very nice, and the beach is an easy walk away. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

We loved staying here. It was affordable, clean and tidy, with plenty of room for families and impeccable service. The beach is close by, and the shops aren’t too far away. Thanks so much!

Louise was a fantastic, warm and welcoming host. We also enjoyed the landscaped outdoor pool and spa, which kept us all entertained. The apartment had a fully furnished patio, a good-sized bedroom and bathroom, and a kitchen with modern facilities. Pauanui Beach is just across the road.
