The rooms were clean and tidy, and it was easy to find the place. I could walk into Petone town centre without much trouble, and there’s a supermarket and Macdonalds nearby. There’s also a brewery just around the corner.

I’m here overnight for work, not by choice. I’m a driver, and we have overnight runs from Auckland to wellington.

The booking was easy, and the room stayed quiet even though it’s close to a busy road. I liked having a kitchenette so we could cook our own meals. The downside is there are no USB ports for charging phones and the grounds need a good tidy up.
