The hosts were wonderful with our kids, playing games by the pool and letting butterflies go in the garden with them. The lodge is also close to both town and the beaches, and the rooms are very tidy, with clean kitchens and bathrooms. We loved our stay and will definitely come back. Highly recommend it.

I was really glad I chose this place as a backpacker. It’s quieter and cleaner than any hostel I’ve stayed in, and they have budget rooms. The place is very clean and affordable, near the centre and a nature reserve, yet still quiet. Simon and Melissa are friendly, helpful, and keep everything well maintained. I’d definitely return. I’ve stayed here twice now. It’s comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced, and Simon and Melissa are friendly and helpful. There are rooms rather than dorms, so it works well for solo travellers as well as couples. Some shops are close by, and the town centre is only a few minutes away by car.

After an 85km tramp, I had the best sleep ever. I stayed for two nights, either side of the trip, and found the place very clean with everything I needed, including a good kitchen and bathrooms. The owner was really friendly, and the price and location were good. I’ll stay here next time I head off on an adventure.

I only meant to stay one night, but ended up here for a week. It’s cheap and great value for the money, with a family run feel, clean and well appointed spaces, and a safe environment for families and children. The other tenants were no problem, and I think I’ll stay here again and again. They’re VERY STRICT ON DRUGS AND ALCOHOL, so don’t try drinking or smoking there, as they’ll act straight away without warning. I’m looking forward to seeing the main building finished in its original style. Thank you guys.
