We had a level, hard-surfaced powered site for our motorhome, and it was nice and clean. The ferry port is right nearby, which worked perfectly. There was some traffic noise, as other reviews mentioned, but it didn't disturb our sleep. Just one night here.

I hate leaving a bad review, but the motor camp has turned into a truck stop. Truckers use the nearby side streets to wait before heading to the Wellington ferry. The diesel engines run for ages and the fumes are overwhelming, which makes it unpleasant for people staying at the camp.

The huge lorries go thundering past the campsite constantly on their way to the ferry, so bring earplugs. I put mine in and slept fine without hearing them. It works well for an early morning ferry, with very clean bathrooms and a great kitchen.

Very clean and tidy, and easy to reach when you get off the ferry. Looks like there are a couple of chalets you can rent too.

We had a very friendly host, and the facilities were immaculate. It's about a 10 minute walk into Picton. One of the nicest campsites I've stayed at. Thanks for having us.
