The backyard was lovely, and those two trampolines were a lot of fun. I felt at home at Piha Beachstay right away and really didn’t want to go. The rooms had comfy beds, there was plenty of parking, and the shared spaces were great. The kitchen was clean and had what you might need, and the whole place felt tidy. Such a special spot, with kind staff and an owner, plus the cutest dog. I’d love to come back!

We had our own little deck outside our private room, which also came with a bathroom. The room was very roomy, and the place itself is beautiful. Shared areas felt inviting, and the kitchen was stocked well enough to make meals easily. I’d definitely stay again next time I’m in Piha.

The kitchen was functional and well equipped, and there was a nice area to sit and lounge. I stayed in a private room, so I can’t speak to the shared dorms, though everyone seemed happy. Our room was nice and well insulated. It’s a picturesque spot, very clean, and a short walk from Kitekite falls and the beach. Staff were welcoming, with the resident cat and dog adding to the warm welcome.

This gave our trip a great start. It’s worth knowing this is hostel-style accommodation, with shared living spaces. We enjoyed the stay, especially the great location. The property felt relaxing, and the house was quiet.

A quiet retreat. We liked the setting and surroundings, plus the large terrace and the big shared kitchen and living room. Our ensuite room, nikau, had its own terrace, a lovely place to catch some sun, relax in the calm, and read.
