The sofa bed was really uncomfortable, so I wouldn’t choose this place for four people. For two, though, it’s honestly great. The kitchen has everything you need, and the pub next door serves food with daily deals. We didn’t hear any evening noise from it. There’s a great shower and a washing machine, plus you can use the dryer at the pub or hang clothes on the outdoor line.

A lovely, clean unit and a very pleasant place to stay. We didn’t hear any noise from the tavern next door.

There was plenty of parking and the bar was only a few steps away. Staff were helpful and around whenever we needed them. I think the staff member’s name was George. 👌🏻

The facilities were clean, the beds comfortable, and the motel room spacious. There was an oven, stove, big fridge, pots, and pans, though the kettle looked as if someone had made coffee in it, so we left it unused. Check-in took a long time because reception was at Crow Tavern, which was short-staffed.

The accommodation was clean, well equipped, and full of thoughtful details. We even had four neat black and gold travel-size personal care products per person, instead of the single all-purpose soap you often get at pricier places. That sort of care made me think the owner follows the House of Habsburg school of hospitality. Joking aside, it was a wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend it. I didn’t actually visit the tavern during my stay at Crow's Nest Accommodation and Tavern, though I passed through it. It’s known as the only tavern in town amid a residential area, and has a full restaurant, public and lounge bars, a bottle store, smoking area, gaming room, and garden bar. The place has plenty of history. Terry McCashin renamed the former hotel Crow Tavern in 1974, and it was decorated to celebrate that heritage. As the owner put it, it’s a place where business gets done, jokes are shared, and celebrations happen.
