The three-course dinner cooked by David was the standout for us, honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. He was lovely and made sure we were well looked after. My mum and I were here for the Queen Charlotte Walk in November, and had such a good stay. The lodge was well equipped, with comfortable beds, lots of blankets, and private bathrooms. We also loved the cozy shared space, especially the wood stove, tea and coffee options, and views over the beautiful private beach. We’d happily come back if we’re in the area.

David also made us a superb lunch to take on the walk. The chef’s table dinner was amazing, unusual, and really memorable. We saw glow worms and even a stag on the beach. 11/10, I can’t recommend it enough.

The accommodation is in a few lodges. The main one has four bedrooms, plus a pleasant lounge and kitchen with seating and a fireplace. Everyone gathers for dinner, which David, the owner, prepares and cooks. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. David and the other hosts were fantastic. It’s an interesting place and well worth a visit. There are regular ferries.

The staff were all really friendly, and dinner was amazing. Chef David and his assistants served a five-star meal in the outdoor dining area, which is screened in so there are no bugs. The private lodge is a nice spot just off the Queen Charlotte Track, with a beach and kayaks for exploring the waters around Camp Bay. You can also go fishing in the paddle boat.

The studio was the only place with beds left, and it turned out to be amazing. It’s really quiet, with the stream just outside, and there are glowworms and a waterfall only a few minutes up the stream. The staff are awesome, and I’d definitely book the dinner. It’s delicious and there’s plenty of it.
