Queenstown Holiday Park Motels Creeksyde

The campground has a lot of character, with art sculptures and BBQ areas that are kept in good shape. We stayed two nights in a campervan and were lucky to be near the camp kitchen and bathrooms. The facilities were excellent, clean and thoughtfully laid out. I especially liked the bathroom murals, spacious design and strong water pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the town centre, gondola and lake are all an easy walk away. It felt like a well-run place.

The filtered well water was so good! The park itself is funky, quirky and eco-friendly, with great kitchens and facilities, cosy places to relax, and art installations dotted around. It's in a handy spot just outside town for parking a van. The staff were really helpful. Wish we could've stayed longer.

We came as a couple for a week after booking by email, and this was one of the best campgrounds we've stayed at during our month or so in NZ. It's peaceful and scenic, and the staff are professional and always smiling. Unlike other campgrounds, the kitchens and toilets aren't closed for set cleaning hours, and staff don't ask you to leave even if you're still using them. There are separate kitchen and bathroom areas, everything was very clean and well maintained, and the recycling setup deserves a bravo. It's a great base for exploring Glenochy and Arrowtown, and for walking to the centre, supermarkets, the gondola and the Ben Lomond trail. We had a really relaxing time.

A great campsite close to Queenstown, with everything we needed and upkeep that seemed very good. The facilities include several kitchens, a BBQ, laundry at $6 NZD per cycle, clean toilets and good showers with instant hot water and no time limit.
