We first stayed at Raglan retreat a year ago for our honeymoon, in the 'Aroha' chalet. We loved it so much that we returned for our first anniversary and stayed in the 'Serenity' chalet. It’s beautiful, peaceful, tranquil and private, tucked into some of New Zealand’s best native bushland. The hosts are lovely, and the facilities are clean and well kept. I love it here.

Ahiawa Chalet was a lovely place for a weekend. It sits nestled in native bush with beautiful surroundings. The chalet was tastefully decorated, and the spacious bedroom in the loft was nicely done too. I’d definitely go again.

The location is great, and the place was very comfortable and clean, though there was some road noise. The kitchen could use new crockery and more than one wine glass, and cooker instructions would have helped. With more than three guests, having just one bathroom would make things difficult.
