Vivien made our short Rotorua visit feel special. She was pleasant, engaging, and helpful, with plenty of ideas for things to do. She even called ahead to arrange a reservation at Te Puia, the local Maori educational center, which turned out to be an amazing addition to our trip. The location worked perfectly for our visits to Hobbiton and Te Pā Tū. A belated thank you, Vivien, for making our time on the North Island that little bit more memorable.

Breakfast was great, and it was fun sharing the meal with the other guests. Our accommodation was comfortable, and Vivian was such a friendly, one-of-a-kind host. She clearly loves welcoming travelers and knows a lot about what to see, where to shop, and where to eat in Rotorua. I'd happily stay again.

The hostess seemed to know everyone in town and could sort us out with tickets and recommendations for just about anything. The rooms were very well equipped, with thoughtful touches like two luggage racks, reading lights, and plugs at both bedside tables. They were clean and had toiletries provided. We also loved the private verandas in two of the rooms. After staying in hundreds of B&Bs over the years, this was honestly one of the best. We'd definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our family stay with Vivien. She was lovely to talk with and incredibly helpful, with great suggestions for things to do around the area. The rooms were cosy and the beds very comfortable. Thanks for everything!

The Redwoods were our favorite part of Rotorua, and this place is only a 2-minute drive away. We felt welcome right away thanks to Vivien, and the cosy room was just what we needed to rest. Breakfast was fantastic, and her local tips were spot on, even better than ChatGPT’s. Staying here was a great decision, and I highly recommend it for a Rotorua visit.
