The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the pillowcases were stained. We were glad we'd brought our own pillows. The window latches were broken, so the room could only be secured with one latch. The plunge pool in our room was broken and covered with a tin lid. We were told it wasn't working, but it was still an eyesore. The room was dirty: mould in the shower, hair on the bathroom tiles, a toilet bowl that needed a good scrub, a spiderweb in the corner, and tea stains in the coffee cup. There was no air conditioning, just a small table fan that wasn't enough for summer, and sleeping was very uncomfortable. Wi-Fi kept lagging and dropping, which made watching the internet-connected TV impossible. For the price we paid, we won't recommend this motel or come back. Do better, Midway. It's time to upgrade the rooms and hire a good cleaner.

It's in a great spot, close to everything, but the rooms are a little run down. Some power points didn't work at all. The bathroom needs new shower rails, as they look rushed, and the shower head was gross. I had to scrub the shower floor because the corners were full of mould.

We slept well since it was quiet, and the accommodation was spacious with a hot water tub. The location was great, near the city centre, and check-in was quick and easy.

The unit was nice and clean, with plenty of room for a family. The smart TV was handy for relaxing with Netflix. It's a cool spot otherwise, but there were some maintenance problems that left me unhappy. The shower temperature kept changing, with the hot and cold not working properly. We also couldn't use the electric kettle and microwave at the same time without tripping the circuit breaker. I had to call reception for help. The guy came to sort it out, but left without explaining the problem properly.
