Comfortable beds, a great location, and clean bathrooms. Best of all, the staff were friendly.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and there are great pubs and restaurants only a few minutes’ walk away.

For good value right in central Rotorua, this worked well. My room was cosy, clean, and very private, and the toilets and showers were clean and private too. The kitchen and lounge made a nice place to cook and chat with other travellers. Laundry was included, and a staff member helped me use it. The room could get too hot, though. There’s no air conditioning or fan, so I had to leave the window open and hope cool air came through. I also bought a small USB fan to use in the room.
