Roxburgh Motels

The main difficulty was keeping the unit warm. It was late afternoon after a frosty morning, and despite two heaters, the room stayed cold even though it was sunny and fairly warm outside. The heat pump above the kitchen bench didn't direct airflow into the lounge, while the panel heater only warmed the nearby area. A floor-standing heat pump in the panel heater's place might work better if upgrades are planned. We were there for one night for a sports competition in central and didn't spend much time nearby. Our one-bedroom unit had two beds, plus another in the lounge. It was clean, tidy, and reasonably equipped, and the host was lovely and friendly, with two cute dogs. The mattresses were soft, which some people will like, though anyone wanting medium or firm ones might find them too soft.

It's a lovely, quiet, neat little town, and the location couldn't be better. A few of us come back every year after the Burt Munro bike rally. The owners are very friendly, and the rooms are immaculate. Definitely worth a stay.

I had the best sleep I've had in a long time, thanks to the really comfortable beds. The shower was amazing and powerful, and the accommodation was clean and tidy. Full Sky service and great value for money too. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again.

I've stayed here twice while trucking for the local fruit orchard harvest, and I'll be back again. The rooms are very big, with loads of space, and the motel is extremely clean and tidy. It's quiet, child-friendly, and well presented, so I'd recommend it to families or couples. 10/10. If I were actually on holiday, I'd stay here.
