Step outside and you’re right opposite the Russell Wharf, with the Duke Hotel/Restaurant and the Seaside Eatery right nearby. It’s hard to imagine a better spot. The rooms are clean and have what you need for cooking, including an electric fry pan. There’s a communal BBQ, plus loungers and tables outside each unit. The pool is great and 1.6m deep, with a kiddie pool and spa beside it. You can also use one of the four kayaks or choose from about six bikes, and there’s a laundry.

The room was cute and clean, and our view of the ocean was breathtaking. This place is beautiful, and the owners were so friendly and talkative. Easily the best experience we’ve had in Russell, and highly recommend a stay. It’s well worth it, and you can even have a lovely dinner at the Duke right next door. Thank you so much, we’ll be back!

The service was top notch, and nothing felt like a hassle. At check-in, they made sure we were happy with the room and that everything was okay. Our two-bedroom unit had plenty of space for four adults, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing in the sun. We didn’t get to use the courtyard pool because we had an event on, but we’ll come back another time to enjoy the facilities more.

The harbor view is the best, and we absolutely loved the location. Service was excellent too. Having kayaks and a laundry available is very useful. I totally recommend staying here.

We only spent one night in a ground-floor room facing the sea, and the place was such a lovely find. It was clean and roomy, just as described on the site and in other reviews. The staff were warm and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.
