Geoff and June were amazing, attentive, and helpful. The building is beautiful, with original features and a great history, and the facilities were lovely. Breakfast was yummy, and that shower gel was to die for. Thanks for a lovely stay.

After our car broke down, we unexpectedly had to stay in the area, and June and Geoff at the Inn At the Convent were incredibly kind, generous, and accommodating when we needed help. It was a lovely surprise to find such a beautiful, lovingly restored, historic inn. The rooms felt warm and cozy, the beds were very comfortable, and the amenities were great. Our toddler was fascinated by the house and everything in it, and the doggies kept them entertained and made great company. The meals were comforting and delicious, and we felt pampered. Thank you for sharing your space with us. We hope to return one day 😊😊

June and Geoff were great hosts, and I felt totally pampered. The rooms were so comfortable and the breakfast wonderful. It's a beautiful historic place to stay and very reasonably priced. I'd totally recommend it if you're down this way.

We could have spent longer exploring the art collection at the old convention. It's a beautiful place to stay, with very accommodating hosts, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely stay again.

The breakfast was filling and just right for the Tongariro Crossing or the Timber Trail, and it's an easy place to reach for either. The room was lovely and we felt very welcome. It's a short walk down the hill into town to find food. We'd find a reason to stay again.
