The view was the real standout, spectacular. We also had a very nice room, a delicious breakfast, and a good selection of New Zealand wines for a drink before dinner. The owners were lovely to talk with and offered plenty of helpful recommendations. It was a memorable place to stay.

The views are breathtaking, but Stephanie and Neil are what made the stay so memorable. They welcomed us warmly, had homemade cookies ready, and brought out wine and appetizers in the afternoon. We also said yes to their home-cooked three-course dinner, which was delicious. Breakfast had plenty of lovely choices too. Every detail felt just right. Do yourself a favour and book this.

Those spectacular views from Acacia Cliffs Lodge really stayed with us. We spent two nights there and had a wonderful time. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, and Stephanie and Neil looked after us so well with great service and meals. We highly recommend it.

Stephany and Neil were so kind and took great care of us. The lodge itself is a lovely mix of luxury and coziness, with quiet, comfortable rooms and a spectacular view of the lake.

That view really does speak for itself. Acacia Cliffs Lodge is a sublime choice in Lake Taupo, and Neil and Stephanie have done an incredible job with their luxury bed and breakfast. The room was beautifully set up, with what we needed already anticipated. The switches and technology were easy to use, and everything felt high standard without any fuss. Breakfast was delightful, with a range of options. While we were eating, our room was made up each day, then cookies were left for turn-down at night. From the moment we arrived, we were glad we chose this place. Thanks, Neil and Stephanie, for your hospitality.
