Getting married at Te Moenga Lodge made our day extra special. Cheryl and Phil were wonderful hosts, and the setting was perfect, with beautiful gardens, an amazing view, and a pool that looks out over it all. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. We couldn't have chosen a better place and will definitely come back. Thanks so much, from Tracy and Dave.

Our hosts and their delightful, friendly but respectful dogs made the stay feel perfect. Every detail in the divine accommodation seemed thought through, and the location was beautiful. Lake Taupo looked gorgeous, and at night the view felt like a fairy land. This was a highlight of our New Zealand trip, and I highly recommend it.

Breakfast had a good selection and there was plenty of it, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our chalet and everything about Te Moenga Lodge felt top drawer. Cheryl and Phil were welcoming and helpful, and we couldn't have asked for more. The view over Lake Taupo was fabulous, and the location so peaceful. I hope we get the chance to return for a much longer stay.

The chalet worked perfectly for us travelling with two children. It was spotless, and Cheryl and Phil went out of their way to help. There's a hot tub with a view, a beautiful pool, and breakfast can be brought to your room. Parking is ample. Up at the top of the hill, the lodge feels peaceful and secluded while still being close to town. The views are breathtaking. A must for anyone who appreciates a great view, and we'd definitely return.

The lake views were stunning, and Cheryl and Phil made us feel so welcome with their kindness and help. It was a relaxing, breathtaking place to stay. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.
