Gateway Motor Inn

Our marching team, Broadway United, booked seven rooms at Gateway Motor Inn for three nights, and every one was immaculate. The beds were very comfortable, booking was easy, and the staff were lovely. It’s close to the motorway, but we didn’t find it noisy; perhaps the windows are double glazed. The location was good too. We can’t fault the place and would recommend Gateway Motor Inn. You won’t be disappointed.

I stayed two nights at Gateway and wouldn’t come back. Although others have found the location good, I found it isolated without a vehicle, and there are better options. The motorway and railway line nearby made it very loud. The towels were old and frayed, and two plugs didn’t work. The host was pleasant, and the rooms were a good size with a bed that was comfortable enough.

The room was super clean, the facilities were great, and the hosts very friendly. It’s a little out of town, though only a short drive to get there. Trains run by on the nearby tracks in the evening and at night, which could disturb a light sleeper, but it didn’t inconvenience us.

I called to say I’d be late checking in, and they arranged access to the room for my late arrival. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was excellent. I couldn’t have asked for more and would happily come back.
