There are beautiful trails nearby, with waterfalls, and the countryside around here is lovely. Breakfast was great, and the hosts were nice and friendly. We had a perfect time, one of the best stays in NZ. If you’re in the area, make time to stop here for a while :)

The eggs were amazing, those chickens must be happy in their Palace of coup. And OMG, the tuis right outside the door, I’ve never seen so many.

The room felt private, spacious and lovely, and Margaret and Rob were such nice hosts. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The surroundings are beautiful enough that you could spend the whole day close by. There’s a large forest nearby with three trails, and if you’re after peace and quiet, you can unwind on your terrace. The owners are friendly and share plenty of tips for the day over breakfast at their table. Privacy is excellent too.
