We had a good stay for our one night, with three people sleeping there and all having a good experience. The beds were comfy, and the facilities were clean and tidy. It's close to the town centre and a fuel station, and the shower pressure was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and hospitable. Our room was neat and clean, and I'd recommend this as a great place to stay in Te kuiti.

The room was warm, clean, and lovely, with a comfortable bed. The road noise was pretty loud, though we knew about the main road when we booked. Even with the bathroom window open it got damp, and water dripped from the ceiling onto the floor, soaking clothes left there. The woman in the office was pleasant and friendly. It was perfect for what we needed.

The motel was clean enough, though it was quite expensive already, and I think the key policy is unfair and ridiculous. I lost my key and was told I'd need to pay $250 or more to replace the whole door lock. I paid $100. The woman had a key she used to open the door, so surely they could have had that recut for $10. She was quite pushy about charging for the whole lock, and it felt like a scam. I've never been asked to pay for a replacement lock or key before. Why don't they keep spares? I don't like writing reviews like this, but I hope nobody else has to deal with it. It's very cruel.

I was in Unit 12, the room closest to the main road, and the trucks went by all night. I'm not used to that much noise, so I couldn't sleep. When I mentioned it to the staff, they said they would have warned me if I'd called before booking. The room itself was clean and tidy, and there was complimentary milk in the fridge for a hot drink or breakfast. The staff were very kind.
