We had over 30 of us, kids and babies included, at the camp over the Auckland anniversary long weekend, and there was room for everyone. The facilities were really clean, and our tent site worked perfectly. We all enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it.

The people around the place were so friendly, always greeting us and asking how our day was as we walked by. Our cabin was clean and tidy when we arrived. I’d happily come back and recommend staying here.

The beachside location is beautiful, and there are plenty of toilets and showers around, which is useful even if you have your own. We booked a lovely room that was clean and had all the kitchenware and blankets we needed. The reception staff were funny and kind. Good to know for tent camping too.

We felt unwelcome and singled out. The manager's wife replaced a sign while gossiping about our family to other campers, saying my daughter had thrown a tantrum and torn it down herself. That was untrue, and spreading stories about guests on site is unacceptable. The manager had come to our site in an aggressive, unprofessional way, accusing my children of using the trampoline after hours and damaging a sign. I explained they hadn't been the ones on it, but he stayed rude and accusatory and wouldn't speak calmly. It's disappointing that guests are expected to supervise equipment that isn't theirs. If staff need to monitor the trampoline so closely, they could move it nearer their own residence instead of harassing paying guests.

The location was great, and the little cabin we booked was cute and nice and quiet. We stayed for a week.
