We were there for one night to visit town and see the penguins. The apartment was comfortable and well located, with everything we needed. Our host gave us helpful tips for making the most of seeing the penguins. Thanks for a great stay, we’d gladly recommend this place to other travellers.

Looking out over the Pacific Ocean and Oamaru harbour was a real treat. It’s quiet and serene, a nice spot to unwind alone or with your partner. I think it would make a pleasant business stay too. Everyone should experience this natural beauty at least once.

The kitchen and dining area have lovely views, and the place is clean and comfortable. The shower was good, too. Cooking is limited to a microwave, which is a shame when the dining area would be such a nice place to eat. I also thought it was a bit expensive for what you get.

Handy for town, Scott's brewery and the Victorian precinct.
