We could sit inside for dinner and watch the stormy sea, with easy access to the beach and a breathtaking view. The unit had everything needed for a comfortable stay, and it's a magical spot. Melissa was responsive and accommodating with our requests. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived, and wished we could have stayed longer. We stayed in both the apartment and the studio, and both were comfortable, beautifully maintained, and equipped with more than we could need. With stunning views and direct beach access, the location made the stay especially lovely. We'd happily return and recommend it.

The easy self check in was a relief after a long, rainy drive. We had a great stay in the 2 bedroom apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen and very comfy beds, and spent a whole morning spotting Hector's Dolphins in the bay. Melissa was incredibly helpful when I left something behind at checkout. She called as soon as she found it and arranged to drop it in Invercargill so I could pick it up after returning from Stewart Island a few days later. Amazing service, thank you again. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in Curio Bay.

It's right on the beach, with easy access and the sound of the ocean all around. Keep in mind that cooking options are limited, and you'll need to make food yourself since there's nowhere to get any.

After a day exploring CurioBay, we relaxed in the apartment and watched a movie on the huge screen TV with Sky. The bed was comfortable, and the owners have thought of everything you might need. The accommodation is stunning and right on the beach. Put it on your list: see the Petrified forest, check out the seals and penguins, and stroll along the beautiful beach. I don't want to leave!!!!!
