The hosts were very friendly, and the location was quiet. It's about a 25 minute walk from i-SITE, though there's a bus stop right opposite the motel, with buses to the centre every 20 minutes. The large studio was tastefully furnished and very clean. I slept so well on the top mattresses. Great value for money, wonderful hospitality, and I felt very comfortable. Completely satisfied and would gladly return. Highly recommended.

We booked one night and ended up staying two. The location is absolutely perfect, right opposite Esplanade playground, and we didn't hear road noise from unit 10. The room was lovely and spacious, and we felt really safe. The staff member on reception was bright, bubbly and genuinely lovely, not just there to take payment. Definitely recommend for families.

We had everything we needed, and the motel was quiet with good room insulation. The mattress was comfy and the shower pressure was great. Nice touches included Whittaker chocolate on each pillow and a handy water filter under the sink. The location is perfect, across the road from the cricket ground and Victoria Esplanade, and five minutes from the town square. We'll stay again, thank you!

One of our best stays during five weeks visiting NZ. The room was big, with a king size bed, kitchenette, and a big TV with premium channels. It was clean, the reception was nice, and laundry was available for $3.

The bed was the comfiest ever, and the service was lovely. It was a pleasure staying at Harrington. Clean, tidy and very comfy. Would highly recommend 😊.
