Last Light Lodge

The gardens really stayed with me. Seeing the fruit and vegetables growing right there made the whole property feel inspiring, and the food was even better than the already comfortable accommodation and wonderful staff. I loved staying here and would come back in a heartbeat.

The garden produce made the meals feel extra special, and dinner was delicious with everyone's needs taken into account. Breakfast the next morning gave us a great boost of energy. Such a gem, and an ideal place to stay before setting off on the Hump Ridge track.

The organic farm on site is amazing, and you can see how much work has gone into it. We stayed before the Humpridge Track, and it was lovely meeting other walkers before setting off. That made this one of our most sociable walks. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our unit was comfortable and quiet, with shared bathroom facilities. Dinner was amazing and well worth choosing. The 7am breakfast also fit the bus pickup perfectly. A great place to stay before or after the track.

The grounds and the people really live the sustainability here, it doesn't feel like a gimmick. There's plenty to do and explore, but it still feels small enough to enjoy properly. The facilities are beautiful, clean and plentiful, and it felt secure and safe for the children. A big step up from the campgrounds our family usually visits. If you enjoy spending time in special places and appreciating the wonders of our own backyard, stay here. You won't regret it.
