Club Wyndham Wanaka, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

A few practical notes for anyone staying here. The water slide is fun, and its timed switch is at the top on the left. The steam room controls are less obvious: check the hallway sign, hold that button down, and make sure the second switch is on too. It runs on a timer as well. The hot tub was the biggest we came across on our trip, with room for 6+ couples. We couldn't find the bubble button, though the bubbles were going when we arrived, and the area is very dark. There are also two spring water fillers, one in the lobby and one in the gym. We didn't see two anywhere else on the trip. Laundry is free, with two washers and four dryers, though two dryers are currently broken. We loved having a ceiling fan in the room, the only one we had on our trip. The breakfast buffet is skimpy, even though the staff are lovely and the room is quaint. It's tiny, so you hear everyone's conversations, and there is much better inexpensive food in town. It's already a lovely place, but I wanted to clear up some misleading online information and confusion we had in person.

The location makes it easy to get to town, the lake, and good places to eat. We stayed in the Presidential Suite with my family, and it was spacious, comfortable, and genuinely high quality, one of Wanaka's best accommodation options in my view. It was well equipped and a great place to unwind after a day out. I've also stayed in the Unit rooms, which are just as good and very clean and tidy. Room service was great. Club Wyndham Wanaka is an excellent place to stay, especially if you can book one of the top suites.

Matt and his team made my first work trip to Wanaka a great one. The food was so good that I ate at the restaurant most nights, though Matt and Molly were happy to suggest other places nearby. The atmosphere, service, and facilities were all great.

My son and I spent two weeks at Club Wyndham Wanaka while on holiday in Wanaka, and the staff took such good care of us. Nothing felt like too much trouble. We ate at the restaurant several times, and when we wanted to head into town, it was an easy walk. Such a beautiful spot.
