The owners were friendly and helpful during our one-night stay at the Alps Motel Apartment. It's only a couple of blocks from Twizel's town centre. Our room was spacious and spotless, with what looked like a brand-new carpet, plus a roomy bathroom. There was plenty of space for suitcases and clothes, and the kitchen was fully equipped, even with a washer/dryer. I recommend this hotel.

Sarah at the front office gave me such a warm welcome that arriving felt like being greeted at a close friend's home. The room was immaculate and worth the money, with a full kitchen and washer/dryer combo. I was only partway through my South Island road trip and had planned on one night, but the stay was a highlight and made me want to remain for weeks. Next time I'm on the Island, I'll definitely book longer.

The staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived. The room was clean, with a kitchenette, laundry facilities and a large bathroom. It had everything we needed and more, and this was one of our best stays in NZ.

It was an easy walk, about 8 minutes, to the town centre for restaurants, a supermarket and pharmacy. The lift to the second floor was handy too, so we didn't have to carry our luggage up stairs. The place was spanking clean, new, and laid out really well. The rooms looked beautiful and modern, with everything we needed: fridge, microwave, hob and hub for cooking, washing machine, dishwasher, cutlery, toaster and kettle. Even the TV had proper HD and movie channels. The bed was super comfy and the sheets pristine white and clean. Best stay of my South Island trip, and definitely where I'd stay in Twizel.

The rooms were large, super clean and had a kitchen and washing machine. Great staff too. Nothing to complain about, I'll definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it.
