Twizel Central Studio Accomodation

The host gave us a warm welcome, and everything was perfect during our stay together from 27/4-30/4. My husband and I loved the blanket. Could I ask where it’s from? It’s incredibly soft, light, and warm.

The kids upstairs kept stomping on the floor and making serious noise for more than an hour while we were resting in our room. We thought it was other guests, so we messaged the owner to ask them to check. Instead, the owner came to our room and yelled at us for reporting it. I was confused. She said the children were hers and that they had the right to make noise before 9pm. We’d paid to stay there, but she didn’t seem sorry about disturbing us and was angry with us instead. I could have understood if they were having a party and had politely let us know beforehand, but the way she spoke to us was ridiculous. I told other people we met in NZ about it, and they were shocked too. This is the worst owner I’ve met in NZ. I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone.

The owner was friendly to chat with, and it was easy to get in and out. The room was really clean, neat, and modern, with a super comfy bed, a brilliant shower, and a heated towel rack. The reverse cycle AC was handy, and it was quiet too. I’d definitely stay again when visiting Twizel.

The owners were really kind and helpful, and the outdoor seating area was pleasant. The room was small but good, and nice and clean. The bathroom was a little dated, though still good. There was a kettle, cups, and glasses, but no counter space for making tea, coffee, or sandwiches. You also need to ask for crockery and cutlery. Nice place for an overnight stay, and I’d come back.
