Dave and Glynis are genuinely caring hosts who go out of their way to make guests feel at home. They’re kind, generous, and hospitable. My one-bedroom flat at Elderslea Manor was warm, nicely presented, and had everything I needed, including a spa bath. I could walk to anywhere I needed to go. Each time I stayed, Dave and Glynis had plenty of breakfast food and drinks ready for me. I’ll definitely return and recommend it to friends and workmates.

The hosts were so welcoming, and even went out of their way to bring us the togs we’d left behind. The accommodation is fully separate and self sufficient, with its own kitchen and sitting area, bathroom, and bedroom. We enjoyed the outdoor spa, and the kitchen had everything needed for continental breakfast the next morning. Since it was Good Friday the next day, they’d even left us hot cross buns. The bathroom spa looked pretty epic, but we didn’t get to try it. It’s very close to Upper Hutt shops. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it. My only suggestion is a DVD player for the bedroom TV. Apart from that, it was perfect!

Elderslea Manor is a lovely period house, and it’s worth asking about the building’s history. We stayed before Covid-19 and got such a warm welcome from Dave and Glynis, the owners. Without a doubt, the best place to stay in Upper Hutt. Highly recommended.

Elderslea Manor Rest Home is a great place for older people in our community to spend their later years. The rooms are nice, the caring staff look after residents well, and professional nurses manage the home.

Heather was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed everything, from breakfast to the spa, pool, BBQ, sauna, and spa bath. The kids really liked the grapes as well. Thank you!
