We stayed three nights at Beach Pacific with our three kids. It was clean, nicely presented and spacious, with plenty of room in the bedrooms and living area. The spa was a bonus, and being so central meant we could walk everywhere. Staff were extremely friendly, and check-in and checkout were easy. I’d recommend Beach Pacific and would definitely stay again.

The room was modern and had good facilities, and the location was perfect, right in town and a short walk from the beach. The host communicated well and was great about arranging an early check-in and late checkout. The main bed was comfortable, but the room with two single beds was a tight fit, probably more suited to two children than teenagers or adults.

We only stayed one night, but the apartment would work well for a longer visit too. It was warm on a very cold night, and we didn’t hear any noise from the shops downstairs. The hot tub, huge bathtub and fully equipped kitchen were lovely, especially for a couple. Communication with the owner was great. The wifi was very slow and temperamental, and I suspect it’s shared between the apartments. It didn’t matter much to us, but could be a problem if you need it for work. We’ll be back.

Updated in 2022: We stayed again and it was just as amazing, and very clean. They kindly helped us change the booking when we needed to. The place is right in the centre of town, yet double-glazed windows kept it super quiet. It’s so beautifully appointed with everything you need. Our friends and family staying elsewhere around Waihi were envious. Definitely coming back. AAAAAAAA+++++++

Warm, comfortable apartments, well equipped and well maintained, and close to the beach. Read the rules to help preserve the apartment’s high standard. It’s a three-storey building with a penthouse on the top floor. The penthouse is very popular, and I missed out on booking it. I also saw an apartment egg that didn’t have a spa pool.
