Waikawa Bay Holiday Park

We'd stayed here before, and the difference since our last visit was fantastic. The cabins look fresh and were really clean, and the creative artwork around the grounds adds to the quiet, peaceful feel. The staff gave us great service. Bless you.

The staff were so friendly when we arrived, and the picnic area was lovely. We chose a cabin room, which suited us perfectly. Everything was super clean and tidy. It was our first stay, and we'd definitely come back and recommend the place to others.

The site has some characterful art displays and interesting figurines, and the amenities, though a little old-fashioned, were very clean and perfectly fine for everyday use. My medium-sized site was quiet and just what I'd asked for. I called to book a powered site for five days, and the patient, helpful woman on the phone was, I think, Felicity. For a good walk of about 4k, go from Waikawa Bay Marina to Picton Bay Marina. From W3W joyously.downright.slapstick, there's a shortcut down to the walk. Waikawa Marina and the local pub/restaurant/bar are about seven minutes away on foot. Waikawa Bay Wharf takes around ten minutes to walk to, with a seating area, toilets, and landscaped grassy areas.

The kitchen cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were welcomed warmly, and the shared facilities were clean too. We had an excellent stay and would happily return.
