The studio was roomy, comfortable and clean, and it seemed well looked after. It’s a little outside the town centre, which made it quieter but less handy if you want to be right among everything. We only saw the host briefly for the key handover. We arrived earlier than planned, so that may be why the exchange felt a bit rushed. Still, we enjoyed our stay.

We’re a family of four and had such a good stay in this cosy chalet. The wood burner was lovely, and it had everything we needed. Alex and Christine were really accommodating and attentive, nothing felt like too much trouble. Christine even baked a delicious cake for us when we arrived. It was quiet and private, and we’ll definitely come back. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The hosts were so friendly and attentive. They kept on top of the bins, refreshed the towels and replenished the fireplace and wood, going well beyond what we expected. The place was very clean and tidy, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and we stayed warm and toasty. It worked perfectly for our family of four, and we’ll be back. Thanks so much. Alex and Christine were wonderful hosts, and we’d happily stay again if we’re back in the Queenstown and Wanaka region. My wife and I were especially glad there was a dry room, so our gear was dry again by morning after a day on the slopes. We stayed in the studio and loved the warm bathroom floor. The chalet is conveniently placed about 40 minutes from both Cardrona and Treble Cone.

We loved being a little off the beaten path, and the place was quiet, with a lovely back patio for relaxing. The beach is only a few minutes away on foot, and it’s still easy to get around town. Our host was friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to visit and things to see. Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful town. We highly recommend Peak-Sport Chalet to anyone coming to Wanaka, NZ.
