There was a generous breakfast spread, and Ann and Blyth were wonderful hosts. It’s a great base for getting out of Queenstown to explore Wanaka or Central Otago wine country. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it.

We felt welcome from the minute we arrived, and by the end of the week it felt like we were part of the family. Ann & Blyth went out of their way for us, with lovely breakfasts, help with our laundry, and a dinner on our last night that we won’t forget. The property is beautiful and just minutes from the ski fields, so getting to the slopes and back was easy. We had an incredible week here and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend it.

We were lucky to arrange dinner during our stay, and that was great too. Breakfast was really good. The hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable and pampered. This was probably the best bed and breakfast we’ve ever stayed at, and it deserves at least five stars.

The comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfast were just part of what made our visit a highlight. Blythe and Anne made us feel right at home with their exceptional service. Waiorau Homestead sits beautifully amid the Cardrona valley landscape. I’d definitely recommend stopping here.

A lovely Bed & Breakfast in a gorgeous setting, with real heart and soul. It feels friendly and fabulous, and a little quaint in today’s commodified travel world. Recommended.
