Right in the city, it was easy to walk everywhere, and I'd stay again if I got the same deal on Booking.com. It was the cheapest accommodation in Welly CBD. The room was basic and the bed's getting old, but I still slept well. For a couple of days or nights, it was a great place to stay. I'd recommend booking a car park for $25 per night, as there's literally no parking nearby.

The front-of-house staff were friendly, and the location was great. The biggest problem was the bed: the springs were sticking out, and even at 78kg my back was in bits. That's the main reason I'm writing this. I was there for two weeks for work, paid in full, and never once got fresh towels. I had to buy my own. My room was never cleaned, and they didn't even take away the rubbish. The place was filthy, and the room was well below average for the price, and really outdated. The air conditioning sounded like a jet engine, so it was only usable in extreme circumstances. The cleaning needs attention, and some rooms need updating.

It was nice and affordable, and I'll stay again. The room was clean, with a functional little kitchen, clean beds and linen, and a clean toilet. The staff and management were very helpful. Banks, shops and the other services I needed were close by. The start was frustrating, though. Even with a reservation made in advance, I was put in a temporary room, then had to check out at 10am and check back in at 2pm on my first day. The front desk clearly hadn't paid attention to my emails or booking details. The air conditioner was noisy.

We stayed three days with my girlfriend. The room was tidy and clean, and our own bathroom was comfortable and sparkling. The air conditioner was noticeable but didn't bother us. The location was great, with a supermarket, Cuba street and the harbour just a few steps away. The room didn't actually have windows, just a curtain, which was kind of funny.

For the price, it's good value if you can sleep with earplugs or don't need air conditioning. The studio was comfortable and tidy, with a nice shower and toilet and a great kitchenette. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There were no windows, and the air conditioning was loud enough to make sleeping difficult.
