It’s right in the middle of town, though Google Maps made it a bit hard to find since it’s tucked away. I was travelling on a budget, and it covered what I needed: the bedding was fresh and clean, and the room was warm. My two children, both 10, and I had a spacious family room with games. It was pretty busy, but people were polite and watched their language when we passed. Quiet time starts at 11 pm. If you’re after a luxury place to relax, this probably isn’t it, but if you’re friendly and want to meet people, it could suit you.

The staff were great and happy to help with questions or changes. The rooms were okay, although some beds seemed quite old and might need repairs. I also got the impression that more people live here long term than at other hostels, which gives the place a bit of a strange vibe.

Everyone on staff gave great service, and the hostel itself is great. Paco was especially lovely and always checked that guests were doing alright.

The rooms and bathrooms weren’t clean at all, and the place had a strange vibe. Quite a few people seemed to be staying long term and were older than people we’ve encountered at other hostels. I wouldn’t recommend it.

For a hostel, especially when you’re in your 30s, this was a pretty good stay. It was clean and spacious, everything was easy, and the location was fantastic.
