They’d thought of all the useful extras, even putting an umbrella in the room and a torch in the kitchen drawer for a power cut. The bathroom had great accessories, and the noticeboard said we could ask reception for another pillow or a different brand of tea or coffee. There was homemade shortbread when we arrived, too. It was the last night of our trip around the southern part of NZ, and this was the best motel of our trip. Everything was there and more, and the place was so clean and tidy.

The owners were so friendly, and we loved the shortbread. Our unit was beautiful, clean, tidy, and very comfortable. Perfect in every way. Well done, Westport. We’ll be back.

The warm homemade shortbread was a lovely welcome, and our room was clean and comfortable. The tea, coffee, and other freebies were better brands than you usually get in a motel. Reception gave us really helpful tips on places to eat and things to do around Westport. Would recommend.
