Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of ingredients fresh from the garden. We stayed upstairs and loved the private deck and the advertised views, especially reading and having wine as the sun went down. The room was comfortable and had what we needed, including wine glasses and beach towels. Jim and Denise were fantastic hosts. We'd happily come back.

We felt like family as soon as we arrived. Jim and Denise welcomed us warmly, and we shared so many laughs with them. Their home is a lovely place to unwind, with farmland views on one side and the marina and sea on the other. We'd highly recommend staying here.

We booked a weekend for four to mark a 60th birthday, and the hosts, food, music and laughter made it memorable. The accommodation is set in beautiful surroundings, too. Whangamata is always one of New Zealand's best seaside places to visit, and this is the ultimate place to stay.
