Greymouth Seaside TOP 10 Holiday Park

The park has clean toilets and showers, a communal kitchen, laundry, and WiFi, with a playground and pool for children. It’s right by the ocean, so getting to the beach is easy, and there are views to enjoy. Greymouth Seaside Top 10 Holiday Park is a handy family getaway, with a comfortable mix of access and things to do. Greymouth has local culture and history, and there are walking trails nearby to see the natural scenery. Pancake Rocks at Punakaiki is another nearby sight to visit. Families can enjoy swimming and beach games here, too.

We had our own caravan, so I can’t say anything about the cabins. The kitchen had six cooking stations and six sinks, which made things easy to manage. In the ladies’ bathroom, the hot shower area had one large, comfortable station. The shower was well designed, with a clean ceramic floor and a raised edge to keep the water from spreading everywhere. Of the 20 places we’ve stayed, this is definitely one of the best. The beach is okay for a walk, though not great. The one thing that could have made the stay perfect would be a nearby restaurant or pub for going out at night.

We had a lovely time here. Everything you need is on site, and the staff were great. They even let us store our e-bikes in their shed. Clean and tidy camp, 10 out of 10. Come and enjoy it.

The staff really stood out, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You can feel that West Coast warmth. We were in our caravan, with my parents parked beside us in their motorhome, and we’d absolutely stay again. The facilities were some of the best we’ve had at a holiday park: modern, spacious, and clean. The showers deserve a special mention, with good pressure, hot water, and plenty of room. The beach is literally a one-minute walk, just outside the park. It’s easy to get into Greymouth for supplies, coffee, or dinner, and a good base if you’re heading to Pancake Rocks and Blowholes. Everything is close without being right in town.
