Kathy was so welcoming and flexible about what we needed. The room suited us well, and my two boys had a great time in the pool. The Christmas light display was an extra treat. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely book again. Highly recommend 👌

We booked this place for the pool and spa, but the pool was freezing and the spa couldn’t be used for some reason. The kitchen gear and cutlery were pretty yuck, and the beds seemed to have bed bugs. I was bitten at least 20 times over our three night stay. The owners also came across as strange and angry. They tried to kick my family and me out for laughing in our rooms at 8pm. The man smoked very close to us and gave us weird looks. I’d never stay here again.

As soon as we arrived, we felt like the owners didn’t want us there. They were very strange and unwelcoming, and the owner even tried to get us to check out early and leave the site. Terrible place to stay. If you’re unsure after reading this, save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else in Whangarei. Would never stay again!

We booked at the last minute while my father-in-law was in hospital, and it was easy to arrange with friendly people. The place was tidy, very clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. I’d recommend it and would stay again myself.
