We ended up wishing our three nights could’ve been longer. The rooms are tiiiiidy, the kitchen is great, and there’s everything you need, including beach towels, AC, and Sky television. The hosts are charming. Honestly, this deserves all the five-star reviews and probably more. Must stay, in my opinion.

The owners are amazing, and this is a quiet beach with safe, great swimming for kids. Our big room had the best beach view, a comfortable bed, and a great shower. It’s close to the town centre and an amazing beach, with Lost Springs spa within walking distance. Easy to walk out for food, too. They have shovels and towels for Hot Water Beach and Lost Springs.

The apartments were clean, well appointed, and had really cool modern art. Staff were friendly and obliging. We stayed for one night recently and highly recommend it. AAA +++

The room and bathroom were spotless, and the in-room amenities were good quality. Waterfront Apartments Whitianga is in a beautiful spot with great views. The lady at reception was kind and really helpful. I had an amazing stay and will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Whitianga.

This was my favorite place to stay in New Zealand. The views were immaculate, and the huge, very clean place had a kitchen. The husband and wife owners went above and beyond to make things enjoyable. They took our laundry out and left it by our door so we could spend the day exploring, and lent us a shovel and towels for Hot Water Beach. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Whitianga.
