I really liked the bar. The hotel is in a great location, and I wish I’d had time to see the inside too. Maybe next time.

The beach is an easy walk away, with a couple of restaurants nearby, and parking was free. The room was okay for a quick stay, but the furniture was old. The shower drain blocked and flooded quickly, some ceiling tiles in the toilet were broken, and the hot water worked only now and then, even when nobody had used it.

The location is the one real highlight. The hotel feels old and overdue for an upgrade. During both nights we stayed, the shower had no hot water. Our double room came with three pillows and one towel, so we had to request more. We were out all Saturday, but when we got back, nobody had cleaned the room or even changed the dirty cups. We ended up making the bed ourselves, as usual. Reception told us we had to ask for the room to be cleaned, which was surprising. The toilet also leaked constantly, so eventually we turned off the stop tap. This wasn’t a very bright hotel overall.
