Beach Hotel

The spacious rooms in a lovely white building with local style made for a relaxed stay, and the prices were reasonable too. Staff were warm and hospitable. The setting is beautiful and convenient, close to the beach and near Muscat's imposing Opera house.

Clean, cool, spacious rooms and lots of good restaurants within walking distance make this a good value place to stay. It’s simple and not especially luxurious, but very close to central Muscat. There’s a small restaurant serving a classic continental breakfast and an outdoor pool.

The rooms are dated, but tidy and spacious, and the hotel is right in the heart of Muscat. The beach is walkable, the neighborhood is good, and getting around is easy. The bathrooms, breakfast, and furniture could all use improvement.

The location was what drew us in, and the photos made the place look nice. In person, it’s falling apart and hasn’t been maintained. Our room and bathroom were dusty and dirty. The bedding was completely unacceptable: it hadn’t been changed before we arrived and had both human and pubic hair on it. We had to get the staff to change the linen and do a basic clean. I’d never come back.
