Behlys Boutique

Behlys Boutique Hotel, Muscat gave us unforgettable memories. It felt like a hidden gem, with personal touches throughout, a comfortable feel in every corner, and moments that became part of our story.

The price is too high for what you get. The Wi-Fi is poor, the bed is rock hard, and breakfast is just standard. There’s no daily hygienic room cleaning, and the hair dryer is awful. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Better to stay at a hotel in central Muscat. This was my first time here, and for me it’ll be the last.

We had a large second-floor room with a terrace, and the long pool is fantastic if you like swimming. Breakfast was excellent, the shared areas are welcoming, the staff are lovely, and parking is covered for most guests. The property is very nice. It’s fairly close to the airport, so we had to sleep with the windows shut. Though for most of the year you need the AC, which means keeping them closed anyway.

The pool is big enough for proper lap swimming, and the beach is a short walk away. There’s also a great street alongside it for jogging. We stayed here at both the start and end of our trip in Oman, and would definitely return. The rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The owner was especially kind and always ready with useful tips about things to do in Muscat and Oman, places to eat, or whatever else we needed. Great value for money.
