City Seasons Hotel Muscat

I’ve booked here many times, but this visit left me unhappy with reception. The furniture is worn, and the underground parking has a sewage smell. I asked to extend my stay until 4 PM on another day, but reception and management refused. I had to move to a nearby hotel I hadn’t tried before; it was cheaper, cleaner, and let me stay until 4 PM for free.

City Seasons Hotel Muscat made my three-day stay a really happy one. The room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the food was tastier and better presented than I expected. The staff were warm and helpful throughout. Room, meals, and service all felt 10/10 to me. Thanks to the team for making the visit so enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We made good use of the pool, gym, and sauna during our six nights. The pool has great views, and the gym is very well equipped. Our room was spacious and comfortable for the whole stay, and the location couldn’t be beaten. They did provide some amenities, but not enough for us, for example, just one toothbrush for two people. Still, we had a wonderful, very comfortable stay.

My fifth-floor room was large and surprisingly quiet despite the busy street outside. The hotel is well placed, with restaurants, hookah bars, and supermarkets nearby, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a big, varied buffet and excellent. The rooms need updating, especially the tired bathrooms. Free TV was frustrating too: the signal would drop after about four minutes, then sometimes return after 5-10 minutes, only to cut out again. Early check-in costs more than half the daily rate, so check carefully or book an extra day ahead.
